Evans evans trackwater coolant

Evans TrackWater Coolant

TrackWater is a high performance corrosion protected deionized inhibited water with surfactant. TrackWater is recommended for pavement track machines that are not allowed to use glycol based coolants. No mixing is required, does not offer freeze protection.

Instructions:

Drain cooling system as per vehicle instructions including expansion tank. Dispose of old coolant in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
2.  Flush system with water to remove remaining coolant. TrackWater is compatible with antifreeze materials, but residual antifreeze may result in a green tint visible at tech inspection.
3.  Fill system with TrackWater as per vehicle instructions. Run machine, revving moderately to purge potential air pockets.
4.  Check fluid level at the radiator. Fill expansion tank to "cold" level line.

The additives in TrackWater will protect engine components from contaminants in the water that may have been introduced during the Step 2 flushing.
TrackWateand other pavement legal coolant products contain water, therefore they suffer the deficiencies listed below. To avoid these issues, use Evans waterless coolant, itrack rules permit.

    • TrackWater will freeze at 32F/OC. Water expands when frozen and engine component damage will be encountered.
    • TrackWater should be replaced within one year of installation. Do not store machine withTrackWater if freezing temperatures are possible. Magnesium is especially reactive to water,avoid long term contact.
    • If the temperature of TrackWater exceeds its boiling point (212F/100C at atmospheric pressure, 240F/120C under 15 PSI) the vapor formed will push the liquid out of the cooling passages allowing the metal temperatures to spike. Hot spots can generate pre-ignition detonation and could lead to head warping and head gasket failure. Some vapor will be generated, even under normal conditions, and it will purge out of the system; check the fluid level prior to vehicle operation.

Water presents many challenges as a heat transfefluidTrackWater's surface tension reduction and corrosion protection properties have tested better than the other leading brands. If water must be used, TrackWater is the best option.

Ipropylene glycol is permitted, Evans NPG Coolant is a superior option.

If there are no restrictions on engine coolant options, Evans Powersports Coolant or High Performance Coolant arthe best choices available.

Evans Waterless Coolants have high boiling points and do not build vapor pressure. Vapois not formed in the cooling passages and so metal-to-liquid contact is always maintained. Low system pressure is due to fluid expansion only; explosive pressure is absent. Evans Waterless Coolants are stabland protect engine metals (including magnesium) from corrosion, electrolysis, and erosion indefinitely. Evans Waterless Coolants shrink as they get colder and so freeze-burst damage is not possible. Racers, museums, and enthusiasts all rely on Evans Waterless Coolants to protect their engines and their race finishes from thravages of water, the universal solvent.
